Rog continues our series of talks on the Minor Prophets with Joel. We may go through times of disaster and heartache for no apparent reason, just as the Israelites were troubled by swarms of locusts. Joel would tell us that such events remind us of the coming Day of the Lord. Our response is to get ready for that day and turn to Jesus in trust, knowing that when He returns He will put everything right which is wrong in our world. He will bring justice and eternal salvation, and He will restore our world and repay the years the locusts have eaten. This talk is an encouragement for anyone having a tough time.
