Alex starts a new series of talks on the Minor Prophets with a general overview and historical account of the time of the Minor Prophets and then talks in more detail about Nahum. Nahum is a hard book to read and shows God's intolerance of evil and injustice. In Nahum we see God's anger towards the ancient Assyrian empire, but it also shows God's anger towards all the empire represents. Nahum teaches us that God is opposed to evil and that he is more powerful than any regime, but that he is also good and loving towards those who trust him - especially in times of trouble.
