As part of the beatitudes series, Alex explains that meekness doesn’t mean we just need to be quiet, unassuming and placid, it requires us to be counter-cultural. Meekness requires us to stand in the face of the wicked and not just condemn them, but to model an opposite way of life in front of them, even when we are ridiculed for doing so.
