Consider this; you’re sat in building and the fire alarm goes off. Someone comes running in and says, ‘there’s a fire, get out the building’. If you were to stay sat on your chair and shout “oh no, the building is on fire, I’m going to die, I better get out of here” but then remain seated, others would think you are insane or that you don’t actually believe that the building is indeed on fire.
In this talk, Lydia makes the point that our actions show what we really believe. If we have a healthy, active faith and believe what the Bible says about Jesus, and about who we are as followers of Jesus, then this will change the way we act.
