sunday morning service

10.00am | Heeley Hall – Birkdale School, Endcliffe Crescent, Sheffield, S10 3DH

We are delighted to invite you to the Sunday Morning Service service at Sheffield Vineyard.

We start our services with a time of worship, followed by biblically-based talks that seek to draw out practical applications that are relevant to everyday life. After the talk, there’s an opportunity to be prayed for.

Safety matters

You don’t need to book in advance, just turn up. We will be keeping windows and doors open for good ventilation, so bring a coat if it’s a cold day. Wearing a mask is up to you! Feel free to keep it on, or keep it in your pocket. We will be singing worship songs. We will be serving Tea and Coffee (you will be served – it won’t be self-service), but we won’t be having any donuts (sorry!) Bringing your own mug is good for the planet! Seating will be a bit more spaced out than normal and we will be having an area of seating nearer the windows where chairs will be more spaced out for our cautious members of the family.

Worship is more than music. To us, it’s the act of freely giving our love to God in all that we do. We believe that worship is the key to finding Him at work in our lives. Music is just one of the many ways we worship at Sheffield Vineyard. During our Sunday services, we love to sing songs to God, lifting Him up, giving thanks for all He is and has done in our lives, and telling Him how much we love Him.

What we sing is very important to us and that’s why we write and sing our own songs.

You can search hundreds of songs written in Vineyard churches from all around the world at vineyardsongs.com.

Our childrens’ groups (Ignite, Burn and Blaze) are passionate about kids never knowing a day without Jesus.

We start our services with worship for all the family. Our children then move to an adjacent room (the fun side) during the talk.

We believe that children are a vital part of the whole church and so our childrens’ groups are places where we get to do church in an age-appropriate and fun way.

We’re committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of kids. All our children’s team members are trained and committed to working in a culture that is safe.

If you’d like to get more involved at Sheffield Vineyard, we’d love to hear from you.

We will also have a Sunday Evening Refection, which will be at 7.00pm online. This will include a shorter time of worship and a recording of the talk from the morning service.  This online event is designed to help anyone to engage in the church who feels uncomfortable coming to an inside venue or who is currently staying outside Sheffield.
