Your brother and sister are never your enemy
We love all parts of the wider church, even those with whom we don’t necessarily agree with. We should agree whenever we can with others in the body of Christ and where we cannot, we should disagree well.
John Wimber was an advocate of church unity and spent seasons of his life hanging out with different denominations and movements. He would insist that where the name of Jesus was honoured be it among snake-handling churches or those worshipping with their candles and their incense, all who loved Jesus there were his brothers and sisters.
Welcome all the Lord’s followers, even those whose faith is weak. Don’t criticize them for having beliefs that are different from yours. Romans 14:1 (CEV)
