Racism is a belief that one race is superior to the other or the practice of treating a person or group of people differently on the basis of their race. Racism the opposite of how God wants us to be because in Christ we are all one, all equal, all loved by him, without exception. God designed us to have individuality and our difference to represent his multifaceted personality. And God made us equally valuable to Him –we were all made by God and our true identity is found only in Him.
This talk addresses the matter of racism, which, whilst it is a constant condition faced by many people, has once again been brought to the forefront of our minds, this time because of the killing of George Floyd. Gloria, who was born in Nigeria and is a worship leader at Sheffield Vineyard, expresses a raw, passionate, unpolished heartfelt response.
