5 ways to belong

There are lots of great churches in Sheffield. We hope that you will find one where you can fit it, get involved, be part of it, and belong. If Sheffield Vineyard the place for you then we would be thrilled!

We understand membership to be about your involvement rather than any kind of formal membership process. So, if you’d like to feel like you belong here, there are five things that you can do.

Come along on a Sunday

We have a Sunday Service at 10.00am. We encourage you to come along regularly. We serve tea and coffee with doughnuts and pastries, followed by a time of worship, then a biblically-based talks that seek to draw out practical applications that are relevant to everyday life. After the talk, there’s an opportunity to be prayed for. We finish around 11.30.

Join a Lifegroup

Lifegroups are small groups of people who meet during the week in various locations around Sheffield. They are great places to get to know others and be known. Each group has a different theme and we encourage you to find one that works for you. Lifegroups are a place of connection, where people can develop healthy relationships and care for one another. They provide a safe environment where we can help each other to grow in our faith and walk through life together with Jesus at the centre.

Find somewhere to serve

We have found that poeple feel like they belong if they are a participant rather than a recipient. There are many ways that you can help out in the life and ministry of the church.  Everyone is welcome to get involved. We’d love for you to discover where you can make a differnce through serving in a team. You might just find that you benefit through the act of serving even more than those who are served.

Give

Sheffield Vineyard runs on the generous giving of those within the church.  Having healthy finances means we can continue to serve our communities generously and fund the day-to-day running of the church.

Invite people to join in

The church exists to worship God and to tell others of his greatness. What God has done to you, He now wants to do through you. God doesn’t just want us to be disciples, He wants us to make disciples.
